On November 10, 2009, the CPSC and Maclaren will be issuing a recall of all of its strollers made from 1999 to 2009 due to a hinge on the stroller posing a possible risk to children’s fingers resulting in laceration or amputation.

The Maclaren Grand Tour LX was introduced as a 2009 model and a premium price tag. For 2010, parents can customize which components to include with the 2010 Grand Tour LX Custom.

The stroller is essentially the same, and you pick and choose what you want on it… which seat (Convertible or Lite), a carry cot, rain cover, sun screen, cupholder, etc.

New for 2010, the Maclaren Quest Zodiac edition offers a fabric print with stars. Unique to this stroller, when you send in the registration card and note your child’s zodiac sign, Maclaren will send you a stroller seat liner imprinted with your child’s zodiac sign (e.g., Aries, Libra, Aquarius, etc).
