The first all-new stroller from Inglesina in a little while, the made-in-Italy Inglesina Avio is planned for a spring 2010 release.
The Avio is designed to be an ultra-clean looking, modern stroller with full-size features in a lightweight, compact-folding package. Its pricing will be similar to the Inglesina Zippy.
Some of the stand-out features include:
- Approximately 16 pound weight with seat
- Very modern styling with minimalist design on an aluminum frame with four single wheels (not any double-wheel assemblies)
- Suspension for a smoother ride
- Optional bassinet
- Vibrant fabric colors
- Deep reclining seat
- Infant seat compatible
- One-handed, umbrella-type fold
- Wrap-around handlebar for better handling
Pre-production Inglesina Avio prototypes were shown in vibrant red, blue, and green fabrics.
